The first act of The LivingRoom thinks about living with art, art within living - taking structures off their hinges, voiding the separation between art and life. A Way Home presents art outside the universe of the institution, bringing it inside the quotidian privacy of the house. An asocial place, insofar as it is removed from the public arena, the home creates the necessary intimacy and familiarity in which to navigate the exhibition.
